Carrier Service Fee
Effective 3-1-2009, all Knology customers using Knology Telephone Service with our long distance plans, will be charged a monthly fee of $1.61 per telephone line. This monthly fee is called the Carrier Service Fee and will be reflected on your Knology bill under the Fees and Surcharges section of the invoice.
This Carrier Service Fee helps Knology cover administrative expenses for national and local regulatory fees and programs, as well as connection and account servicing charges. We cannot continue to absorb these costs that have been imposed on us.
This fee is not a tax or charge required by the government.
