Knology Enhances Sports Pak to Include More Channels

Pinellas, FLA. (October 27, 2009) - Knology of Pinellas announced today that its subscription Sports Pak will include the addition of four sports channels beginning October 29, bringing the total number of channels to 11. The Sports Pak will include popular sports channels like soccer on GoITV, outdoor sports on the World Fishing Network and college action on the Big Ten Network. The package currently offers CBS College Sports Network, three channels of Fox College Sports, Fuel TV, Tennis Channel and Sportsman Channel.

"It's a move that will enhance our current Sports Pak lineup by adding popular sports programming that has been requested by Knology customers,: said Tony Palermo, vice president of marketing for Knology, Inc.

As part of the Sports Pak change, ESPN Classic will move to the Sports Pak from channel 34 to channel 184. Additionally, on September 17, ESPN Deportes launched to digital cable customers on channel 181 with Digital Preferred services.

New channels to the Sports Pak lineup include:
ESPN Classis - channel 184
GoITV - channel 182
World Fishing Network - channel 198
Big Ten Network - channel 189 (launched September 1)

Knology residential cable customers with digital cable can add the Sports Pak for $5.95 per month.

On October 1, Knology also launched ESPN360.com to Internet customers, bringing over 3,500 live sporting events and on-demand programming to the computer screen.
